EQUAZEN®

Daily dose (for all children starting at 3 years of age and adolescents): Take 6 softgels daily unless the dose is lowered by your health practitioner after 12 weeks to 2 softgels daily.

Can people of all ages take this product?

Yes. Although the dosage was designed and studied in children and adolescents only, it is safe to take for adults as well at the recommended dose (6 softgles per day). From our customer feedback adults
can also benefit from Equazen, but again this was not studied.

Can this product be taken with ADHD medication?

Yes.

What fish is used?

We use small fish, sardines and mackerels, that carry much less marine pollutants compared to bigger fish.

Can and when can I reduce the dosage?

After 12 weeks of taking EQUAZEN you can ask your doctor to reduce the dosage to 2 softgels per day.

Can I take it if my child is autistic?

Yes, we experienced that autistic children can also have ADHD symptoms and can benefit from taking
EQUAZEN.

If my child can’t chew or swallow it, can I simply empty the contents?

Yes, it works also when mixing the contents with other foods such as yogurt, smoothies or meals.

How long on average does it take for a child to feel the benefits and see a difference with improved concentration?

EQUAZEN has been rigorously tested in over 12
clinical studies. For most kids, first effects appear at around 4-6 weeks. Optimal effects settle in at around 12 months (= loading phase. After 12 weeks,
DHA and EPA have increased to sufficient levels in the body and are maintained with continuous supplementation. Studies on Equazen showed that children improved their concentration when reading and writing (reading age improved, and handwriting became better), teachers and parents noticed more focused participation in class and better study outcomes.

Is it safe to take it daily?

Yes. The fish oils used are sourced from
small fish (sardines), which means they do not accumulate heavy metals or other toxins or pollutants as some bigger fish species do.
